Reflections in Dark Glasses : ウィキペディア英語版 | Reflections in Dark Glasses ''Reflections in Dark Glasses'' is an Australian television film, or rather a television play, which aired in 1960. It aired as part of ''Shell Presents'', which consisted of monthly presentations of stand-alone television dramas. It was written by Sydney playwright James Workman,〔https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=l7cyAAAAIBAJ&sjid=GOYDAAAAIBAJ&pg=5967%2C8625749〕 and is notable as an early example of Australian-written television drama. Duration was 60 minutes including commercials. Muriel Steinbeck, who played the lead role, had previously been the lead actress in ''Autumn Affair'', the first Australian-produced television soap opera. An additional soap connection is provided by another cast member, James Condon, who later played the title role in soap opera ''The Story of Peter Grey''. Originally broadcast in Sydney, it was shown (via early video-tape) in Melbourne at a later date. It may also have been shown in Perth.〔https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=Tn1WAAAAIBAJ&sjid=wOUDAAAAIBAJ&pg=6171%2C3476066〕 Unlike some Australian television of the early 1960s, the program still exists, as a kinescope recording held by the National Film and Sound Archive.〔http://colsearch.nfsa.gov.au/nfsa/search/display/display.w3p;adv=;group=;groupequals=;holdingType=;page=0;parentid=;query=Reflections%20in%20Dark%20Glasses%20Media%3A%22TELEVISION%22;querytype=;rec=0;resCount=10〕 ==Plot== A woman is in search of her son, who is missing.
